BigBrass BigBash! Wednesday 9th March 2005 To celebrate the success of the BigBrass Programme an event was organised for ALL BigBrass players to meet and create music together. Hosting the event was Michael Dodd, an inspirational Euphonium player with the Grimethorpe Colliery (UK Coal) Band, who famously created the soundtrack to the 1995 film ‘Brassed Off’.
Open Day
Saturday 9th October 2005 An open day was held for anyone interested in Bigbrass. There, people were able to gain a practical experience of the instruments, meet the teachers, and be considered for a place on the scheme.
