inURarea came to life Spring 2002 with a massive launch in conjunction with Viking Radio. It came from a need for information about local service providers for young people. A competition was launched and the name 'inURarea' was chosen for the project.

Since then we have been working with young people providing what they want to see on the site. inUrarea encourages and values submissions from young people on anything you want to talk about. Go to Your Say and get involved.
